Over the last decade, Henry's been a club president, a county committee vice chair, a state party caucus chair, an AD delegate, and an E-Board member. He recently became Political Director for the Democratic Party of Orange County to bring his vast statewide organizing skills to the reddest county in the country. Born in Munich, Germany, the son of an Army sergeant, Henry spent his childhood on military bases around the world.He holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Information Systems from Boston University. Henry has taught computer science for the University of Maryland’s European Division and has worked as a project management consultant/trainer for numerous corporate clients. Henry has served in a variety of Democratic leadership roles over the past decade, including club president, county central committee vice chair, state party caucus chair, Assembly District delegate, and E-Board Rep. He is currently serving his second term as president of the California Democratic Council (the umbrella organization for California’s 400 Democratic clubs) and is a member of the state party’s Voter Services committee. He has worked on a variety of campaigns over the years, focusing his attention on field work. Most recently, he served as Field Director for the Bill Hedrick for Congress 2008 campaign (CD-44). Henry continues to serve the state party traveling with the CDP team as the technology instructor for their new “Learn to Win 2010” campaign training program! Henry recently took on the role as Political Director for the Democratic Party of Orange County, bringing his statewide organizing skills to the reddest county in the country. | |
